I can make your website.

I am based in Montreal, Canada. Currently, I work at Spafax Interactive as the Web Director. Be sure to check out my portfolio before you go.

3 things I do:

1. Design

I’m a Graphic Designer with an assassin’s mentality. I treat a project like a mark. Research, plan, execute.

2. Development

I know good code. I’m a ninja master of CSS, and I’m an expert of both WordPress and Actionscript.

3. Strategy

By day, I’m a Web Director. I can help you do what you’re trying to do. We can set goals and achieve them.

My approach:

Plan it

I begin every project with research, analysis and carefully thought out information architecture. This combined with your vision forms the basis for the rest of the project. It’s a very important phase that many web monkeys either overlook, or are not able to do.

Building

Standards-based coding is a skill that I’ve gotten pretty good at. I can implement a content management system that you can use to make your own updates, and get the most out of your content.

Looking & Feeling

Now that we have our basics covered, we take it to the canvas and create something from nothing. It’s my favourite part, and one of the reasons I do what I do. From this stage, we end up with a conceptual design and user interface that is a perfect fit for the project.

Project Management

A website isn’t just about looking pretty. It has to do what it was designed to do. I can help you track your users, and together we can optimize the experience to make sure that we’ve created the best one possible.

Happy Client Says:

It’s a pleasure working with Ched. I love the final result of my site. It looks great! He should be my PR now too ;)

What do you think?

1

You’re just the guy I need. We should talk. Now.

2

Wait a second.
Show me the work first.

What’s with the pitch?
I’m here to watch videos.

About this website:

I always try be innovative and usable in my web design. This website is my testament to that. The concept was the back wall behind the main cash of a Zara store. All wood and stuff, but with rectangles cut into it for shallow shelves.

What started as a straight-up blog became a magazine thing that became a video website, which is easier to maintain. The hardest part was thinking of how to categorize the type of videos I bookmark.

I’ve tried some other CMS (Joomla and Drupal), but for me the great design of the WordPress admin is why I always use it. Almost everything I’ve tried to do, I can do on WordPress; I learned a lot about PHP from it too.
