1. User Experience

I study design because since I was young, I’ve always been trying to find better ways of doing things. When I began collecting comic books, I became very interested in the reading experience and how a story can translate across platforms. As Digital Director at Spafax Interactive, I’m especially invested in the relationships we have with magazines and how they can be reinvented digitally.

2. Best practices

Good code goes a long way. I care about the quality and clarity of the code I write. Standards move us forward. It’s important to me to all of these things and vote for the future by thinking about the conventions and tools I use. As much as I love the how, I’m also eternally searching for why we do the things we do, especially with new technology.

3. Project Workflow

I attack problems digitally. After 10 years of making websites, I’ve witnessed a lot of things and worked with many different people across different platforms. I’m interested in the planning and strategy that make everything come together in a grand orchestra.
