Check out Brian Schmoyer’s thoughtful video essay about a man’s life stolen by video games. I am touched by his sentiments about the perils of the life well-wasted, but as a life-long gamer myself, I can’t agree with this guy’s over-generalizations about who we are, and how we would put gaming above things like family and career. It’s kind of insulting, actually.
If you’re playing video games so much that it’s messing up your life, the problem is poor time management, not video games. Too much of anything makes you an addict. Everything in moderation, homie.
